SONLUX invests in energy efficiency
Two years after the conversion of lighting throughout the production, storage and shipping areas to energy-efficient LED luminaires, investment has now been made in a new, energy-efficient, all-electric injection moulding machine.
This was purchased as a replacement for an older injection moulding machine. This investment was supported by the Free State of Thuringia and co-financed by funds from the European Union within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

In October of this year, lighting was switched to energy-efficient LED luminaires throughout the entire production, storage and dispatch area.
This exchange of the old lighting fixtures with installed gas discharge tubes by means of modern LED lighting tapes was sponsored by the Free State of Thuringia and co-financed by means of the European Union within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The annual electricity savings due to this conversion is 175,000 kWh, which in turn means a saving of approx. 96,000 kg CO2.
